Messer appoints Heike Niehues to the supervisory board

Bad Soden, Germany. - The shareholders’ meeting of the Messer Group GmbH appointed Heike Niehues as a new member of the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 April 2017.

Heike Niehues joins Nathalie von Siemens as the second woman in the Messer Group’s seven-member supervisory body. Heike Niehues works at Robert Bosch GmbH since 1993. There, she currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Workshop Concepts Automotive After Market in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Prior to her current position, the graduated business economist held a variety of executive positions inter alia in Japan and Taiwan with responsibility for the ASEAN countries in the fields of sales, marketing, M&A and management.
